Since enrolling, I met every staff member at CCCA. I love them, especially Mr Pellman. He really knows me and works with me one on one. It’s not like India. In this school, the teachers help us and really support us. I LOVE U GUYS. THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME…. This is the best school for me.

In a freshman class I was able to go on a field trip to Sacramento State… I was so excited to go to a college for the first time in my life. When we got there I instantly felt like I was 19 and in my first year of college. Working with our college mentors and visiting the campus really made me excited. I was thrilled to be there and felt like I had grown up. It was at that moment that I felt glad to go to this school .

CCCA is a great school in my opinion. All the teachers are kind and will help you if you are ever struggling in a subject. For example teachers will check up and will help you with your homework if you do not understand the topic.

The Moon Festival was finally here. The smell of dozens of Chinese treats filled the air. The day was sunny and breezy. I went to go find my friends, who were already sitting at a table outside. A boy with a fake sword came out of the school. Gao Loashi announces he was going to put on a show for us. Me and my friends were confused, but our jaws completely dropped to the ground as the boy began doing amazing flips and spins that I could never imagine doing. I watched, awe-struck, all my attention on the boy. He finishes his performance and the crowd burst into applause. “Wow,” I think to myself, “That was amazing, this is what CCCA is all about.” We ate and laughed all through lunch until it was over.

One thing that represents Capital College & Career Academy is all the trade partners that always come in and teach us how to do all these things so we can one day have careers… They want us to be successful and have really good jobs so we can have a good life and a really happy family. Another thing they do is that they set up all these projects and activities. We have built tool boxes, planter boxes, ipad stands and, we are now building a green house.

My group had to assemble one of the 12 foot frames, which seemed simple enough. Once everything was set and done, there was the shell of a building and it made me feel accomplished. We collaborated and turned some pieces of wood and nails into that. As the day ended and it was time to go, I pointed it out to my mom and said, “I helped build that.

CCCA is an outstanding school. The things at CCCA that represent the school for me is how the teachers can help students with homework such as. After school, during lunch, and even at the beginning of school. CCCA is a place that makes me feel welcomed. At CCCA everyone's voice is heard. At other schools I felt I couldn't talk or get help from anyone but at CCCA you get support from all over. There's truly no word to express how much this amazing college prep school has helped me and others.
